The Speakers of Parliaments of Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Pakistan, met in Istanbul for the “Second Trilateral Meeting of the Speakers of the Parliaments”, visited Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center.

Following similar steps by Lithuania and Poland, the people of Norway and Canada have started crowdfunding campaigns to buy Turkey-made Bayraktar TB2 unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs) for Ukraine.

"We are very proud, and it is very touching for us to be one of the symbols of this big resistance in Ukraine," Bayraktar TB2 drone-maker Baykar's CEO, Haluk Bayraktar said, talking to CNN in an interview, answering a question on how it feels to attract this much attention around the world.

Norway has launched a fundraising campaign to purchase the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 attack drone for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Turkey’s landmark combat drone has undergone a successful firing test with a laser-guided missile, achieving yet another milestone in the integration process of domestically manufactured ammunition.

A Turkish weapons maker said Monday that it agreed to donate three new armed drones to Ukraine in response to a crowdfunding campaign, after the aircraft were instrumental in Ukraine’s resistance to Russia’s invasion.

Turkish defence firm Baykar said on Monday it would donate three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Ukraine, after a crowdfunding campaign there raised enough funds to buy “several” of the Bayraktar TB2 model.

The Bayraktar TB2 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) Turkey exported to Djibouti was displayed for the first time at the military parade for the East African country’s 45th independence anniversary.

The unmanned aerial vehicle by Baykar has flown to an altitude of 13,716 meters (45,118 feet) during a test flight.
